Fin Alfred & Morten Alfred

Fine Alfred Larsen is my father. The name "Alfred" was my grandfather's first name. My two sons are also called Alfred as a middle name.

My old father has a very large repertoire of Danish songs, everything from craftsman and worker songs to love songs, to soldiers' songs and the slightly bolder songs.

We've been playing together since I was a big kid. It has actually been 40 years - i.a. in Fin Alfred's Wedding Orchestra, and we still perform together when the occasion arises, e.g. at the Skagen Festival in July 2016, where we had a lovely weekend, and around Denmark in 2017. In 2019 we celebrated Fin's 80th birthday and 70th anniversary with music, releasing a digital album entitled '70 years with the singing folk ', which contains a selection of Fin's best songs.

Fin Alfred's album, "Håndværker sange og Skæmteviser fra København og omegn", in which I also play, received a Danish Music Award in 2004 as "Danish Music Album of the Year".
