Lilting for Dancing at Kulturmaskinen

We have tried it before and with great success, namely playing for dances where the core is tral and guitar, where we also have a melody player as a guest. We have, among other things, did it at the youth convention FOD (with Mads Kjøller-Henningsen), and on Music over Præstø Fjord (with Arto Jarvelä, Tapani Varis, Kristian Bugge and Charlotte Andersson). Both times we have started from our "ordinary" concert repertoire, which is a mixture of traditional Danish songs, added traditional dance music and music that we compose ourselves.

And now we get the opportunity to do it again, and this time with our friend and colleague, violinist and fiddler Kristian Bugge, known from bands such as Habadekuk, Gangspil, Jensen & Bugge, etc. The dance takes place in Kulturmaskinen in Odense, and Folkemusiklauget Fynboerne writes:

"There will be a dance on Wednesday 8 May 2024 at 19.30 Mia Guldhammer, Morten Alfred Høirup and Kristian Bugge. Look forward to a wonderful evening with tral (Lilting), violin and guitar for dancing. The dance is supported by the Odense Music Council and the Statens Kunstfond (Danish Arts Foundation). Entrance DKK 100. However, only DKK 50 for members of the Folkemusiklauget Fynboerne, young people under the age of 25, people associated with the Evening School Skibhus 17:48 and Greenland.".
