We had invited four sharp violinists, namely <em>Ditte Fromseier, Signe Kierkgaard Schmidt, Michael Graub\u00e6k<\/em> and <em>J\u00f8rgen Dickmeiss<\/em>, to record <em>Light Pole<\/em> and <em>The Violin Fat<\/em> with us. And they did a fantastic job. Thank you very much for that! We also had <em>Martin Strange Lorenzen<\/em> on clarinets - he is also on almost all the tracks we have recorded for the album, and his style fits really well into Ving\u00e5rden&#039;s sound universe.<\/p>\n<p>Now we just need to mix with Torben Sminge, and then we are ready to come out and play both for concerts and dances. The music we have recorded is composed by the undersigned, inspired by European dance music, waltz, polka, polska, bourr\u00e9e, schottis, four-turn, sext-turn and much more - and then there are three songs, but more about them later.
