We have finished recording for Vingården's upcoming album.

On February 9th and 10th, 2026, we completed the final recordings for our upcoming album. We had invited four sharp violinists, namely Ditte Fromseier, Signe Kierkgaard Schmidt, Michael Graubæk and Jørgen Dickmeiss, to record Light Pole and The Violin Fat with us. And they did a fantastic job. Thank you very much for that! We also had Martin Strange Lorenzen on clarinets - he is also on almost all the tracks we have recorded for the album, and his style fits really well into Vingården's sound universe.

Now we just need to mix with Torben Sminge, and then we are ready to come out and play both for concerts and dances. The music we have recorded is composed by the undersigned, inspired by European dance music, waltz, polka, polska, bourrée, schottis, four-turn, sext-turn and much more - and then there are three songs, but more about them later.
