FESTIVAL OF AMERICAN FIDDLE TUNES!

Lydom, Bugge & Høirup are heading to the wild west this summer to teach at the Festival of American Fiddle Tunes. This is how the festival presents itself:

“Each year, Centrum's Festival of American Fiddle Tunes welcomes hundreds of fiddlers with an interest in traditional music. The festival takes place at Fort Worden State Park in Port Townsend, in the state of Washington, and here a whole week of immersion is held in workshops, band labs, teaching, master classes, jam sessions, parties, and spontaneous gatherings.”

At the beginning of July 2015, Sonnich Lydom (harmonica, harmonica), Kristian Bugge (violin) and myself will travel to Port Townsend to teach traditional Danish music at the festival. There we will also meet the two local violinists, Ruthie Dornfeld and Jamie Fox, as well as a lot of other good colleagues, and we are really looking forward to presenting our brand new album, which we will record in the spring of 2015.
