HIMMERLAND NOMINATED FOR DANISH MUSIC AWARD!

Himmerland's album, "New Roots Music from Denmark", has just been nominated for a Danish Music Award in the category "Danish Folk Album of the Year". The gala party and the presentation will take place in Jazzhouse on 30 November 2013, and we naturally hope to win, but are very well aware that the competition is super tough at the top. In the meantime, the inspiring work on our next album continues, and it's already looking really good with new exciting compositions. Follow along www.himmerland.it

Fortunately, I have had the privilege of receiving a total of seven DMA statuettes for my work in the duo Haugaard & Høirup, one with my father, the folk singer and tradition bearer Fin Alfred Larsen, as well as a DMA Honorary Award in 2012, but it is always exciting!
