Jensen, Bugge & Høirup – a new trio on the international folk and world music scene

So we've made it official. After a long engagement where I have enjoyed playing as a guest with the folk music duo Jensen & Bugge, we have decided to join the rags for real and start the trio Jensen, Bugge & Høirup.

We play a mixture of traditional Danish music and music we compose ourselves, and we play both for specific listening concerts and for dancing.

In the late summer of 2017, we played e.g. for a lot of exceptionally well-trained dancers in Danseladen på Musik over Præstø Fjord. We recorded and filmed that, and in the video above you can see a clip from a lovely evening of dancing and good mood.

We play a set with two songs, first Kristian Bugge's "December Stykk'", and then Lars Brinch's Stykke, from Sønderho, Fanø.
