Then our trio Jensen, Bugge & Høirup have published a new video, recorded at Musik over Præstø Fjord Festival in August 2017. The scene was set in the old barn which had been decorated for the occasion and had had a nice dance floor laid.
The dance barn is what it's called during the festival, and there were plenty of people on the floor in the five quarters we played a set specially prepared for the occasion, with a mix of traditional and newly composed music, arranged for both concert and dance.
The melody is called Slottet, and I composed it for a TV series of four episodes about the small ecological castle Skovsgård in Langeland, which ran on TV2 many years ago. It was the first time we played it for a dance, and it was great to see how the dancers took it to heart and sang along during the dance.
Josh Stærk has been responsible for the sound recordings, Louise Nipper from Soundscape Studio has mixed, and Grete Marie Jensen has filmed and edited the video.
