LYDOM, BUGGE & HØIRUP ON SUMMER TOUR IN THE USA!

In June 2016 we will go to the USA again with the trio Sonnich Lydom (harmonica and harmonica), Kristian Bugge (violin) & Morten Alfred Høirup (guitar and vocals).

Already in July 2015 we played and taught at the amazing Festival of American Fiddle Tunes in Port Townsend, Washington State, and in January 2016 we followed up with a tour of the American and Canadian West Coast. In June, it's time for a summer tour in the northwestern part of the USA, and we're really looking forward to it!

The tour brings us to Nisswa Stämman in Nisswa, Minnesota, and to the Astoria Scandinavian Midsummer Festival in Oregon, but that's not all. On the journey from north to north-west, we pass by Chicago in Illinois, and I wonder if there will be a few more states before we hit Oregon? You can follow the calendar on this page.

Lydom, Bugge & Høirup play both in concert and dance, the repertoire is traditional Danish music, and the audience in the USA usually consists partly of people with a taste for traditional music in general, and of people with Scandinavian roots in particular.

Later, in October, the trio goes to Minot in North Dakota to entertain at the big Norwegian Harvest Festival, and in December we perform, among other things. at the Scan Fair in Oregon – but that's a whole other story.
