Ever since the beginning of the 80s, I have worked with radio and media, and in particular made radio about the Danish and international roots and folk music scene.

First for many years as a freelancer at DR, then at Den 2. Radio (den2radio.dk).

For the past three years, I have worked as an editor at RadioFolk.dk, a small online radio station with lots of roots and folk music, songwriters, blues and world music from Denmark.

At Radiofolk.dk you can listen to programs such as The cat in the sack with news from the Danish folk music scene, The tone language with news from the Danish songwriter scene, Compass with news from the Danish world music scene, Blues on Demand with news from the Danish blues scene, People Live with live recordings, and much, much more.

The programs are with changing hosts, very often musicians and composers from the Danish music scene, and in both Danish and English.

Another very popular program is What's Cooking Folks?, a broadcast where Danish and foreign musicians present CDs and talk about what is happening in the country and within the area from which they themselves come.

Hosts of What's Cooking Folks? counts among other things people like Finnish multi-instrumentalist Arto Järvelä, Swedish violinist Anna Lindblad, Danish violinist Kristian Bugge, Native-American violinist Jamie Fox and French-Canadian violinist David Boulanger.

It's a great joy for me to work with radio, it's a great way to tell stories and I've been doing them for over 30 years.

You can stream RadioFolk.dk's broadcasts live, on demand and you can podcast on: www.radiofolk.dk
