Høirup

Then it finally arrived, Jensen & Bugge + Høirup's new album with compositions by Music Director Borcher Madsen, born in July 1815 in Væggerløse and practicing in Nykøbing Falster. The album is called "Slid din tid", named after one of Madsen's compositions, and it can i.a. available in the online stores www.folkshop.dk
and www.cdroots.com. We can of course guarantee the absolute honesty of both shops.
We will get around the project well in the coming months, and surely there are no better ways to celebrate a music director's 200th birthday than to make an effort to spread his music across the country? Kristian Bugge tells Radiofolk.dk:
"We played both concerts, dances and workshops in connection with the Borcher Madsen Festival in Lolland in June, and celebrated our new release with a great release concert at Marielyst High School. In addition, we must e.g. play Borcher Madsen's music at Højbystævnet in Højby on Funen, Mariefestival in Ansager, Gyngen in Aarhus and at Hagges in Tønder in the coming months."
