A Very Special Evening With Danish Folk Music

Thank you for a wonderful evening! Yesterday, November 17th, we played, together with nine other mainly Copenhagen folk music constellations, as part of the event A Very Special Evening With Danish Folk MusicThe title covers the annual support concert for RadioFolk.dk which takes place every November at the Metronomen in Frederiksberg in Copenhagen.

We had Martin Strange joined in on the clarinet and the bass clarinet, and we played Waltz for an old Swedish lady, Lys Pols/Fiolen Fat and The autumn festival. The profits go uncut to RadioFolk.dk, which uses the money to produce additional podcasts and more flow radio about Danish folk music.

Vingården will continue recording our next album in January, when we also expect to be able to announce news about concerts in Næstved, and on Fanø, among others. But we will keep you informed as the jobs come in.
