The vineyard goes into the studio

Starting in mid-August 2025 The vineyard the first recordings for our upcoming album. We're going to take it easy, we'll grab a few days in the studio now and then, until we think we have enough music to release something. We plan to release it on Go Danish Folk Music.

Since we started the trio Morten Alfred & Vingården in 2022, we have traveled with our music in Denmark, Germany and Switzerland. We have developed a varied repertoire consisting of new music and songs for concerts, but also to a large extent for dancing. We have experienced that the audience has been really happy with our music, and many have asked for CDs (!)

If we talk about the content of an upcoming album, we are talking about titles such as: Ingel's Waltz, The Ballad of the House by the Sea, The Harvest Festival, Light Polish/The Violin Fat, My Orchestra, New Bourrée/The Vineyard, The Castle, Waltz for an Old Swedish Lady and YWelcome. 

We are currently thinking through the project: Should we perhaps ask some of the tough musicians who have visited us at various concerts over the past few years to join us in the studio? Should we compose new material for the album? Should we, for example, add strings? How many songs should we record? Etc.

But we will know more about all that in late summer 2025!
